The temperature has slowly dropped and it’s officially fall season. So what are we looking forward to? Maybe some hot cocoas, warm soups, flannel shirts, and fuzzy hats.
The kids are especially excited about Halloween and last night we carved out a pumpkin for the first time ever. Our very first jack-o-lantern. I don’t know why we never did it before. But with our softball tournament cancelled this weekend we decided to tackle this project… spending a few hours gutting and carving the pumpkin out after dinner. I was the photographer, little one was the scooper, oldest was the artist, and Daddy was the manager a.k.a damage controller. And here’s our finished product. My kids are huge cat lovers so this cat-o-lantern was perfect for us. I think it came out so cute!
And the last photo below was a small painting project from last week. We have a panda and Meta Knight from Kirby (those of you who are Nintendo fans will know what I’m talking about) next to the store bought one in the middle.
Enjoy your fall festivities! 😄
