I stumbled upon this beautiful site, Society6, through a fellow blogger. I have been searching for reputable venues to showcase my artwork. And I am so pleased to have visited their site. Here is a brief review of my experience:
The initial set up was a breeze as well as publishing my art. You can upload various versions of your image by specific size. For example, with phones/stationery cards you will need to upload an exact size of 1300 pixels (width) x 2000 pixels (height). I still have to work my way around the other available products like clothing, totes, clocks, linens, etc. The prices are affordable and Society6 are known for the highest quality in their products.
But it’s more than just setting up your store. By browsing through the works of other artists, my mind is on overdrive with so many new ideas. I am inspired and I absolutely love this new creative outlet. You are surrounded by so many awesome artists. This is another great way to connect with more people.
If you haven’t checked them out yet, I encourage you to do so. It’s amazing!
I have placed a new tab “About the artwork” on my blog. You can view some of my newest creations. I plan to update my collections every week so please check back often.
My favorite one so far is “Thunderstruck” which was inspired by the AC/DC song and also our go-to motivational song for my oldest daughter before each softball game. This particular one somehow appears 3D with the lightning bolt protruding upwards and downwards. It was accidental but that’s why I love it so much.
Please check out the “Owl Art Collection” tab above or visit my Society6 store to see what I have created so far.
Rock on! 😜✌
