Kids Tomato Glasses Review

So after much searching, we decided that the Tomato Glasses, a Korean brand, were the best choice for M’s next pair. We were lucky enough to find an optical shop who carry them about 30 minutes away from us. But there is an option to order them online through the company. There is also a sizing chart for your reference. The name “Tomato” is derived from two adorable characters named Toma (boy) and Toya (girl). And I just recently discovered this tidbit.

PD Optics carries various styles and I highly recommend them if you live in northern NJ. They are so helpful and courteous. The space is quite small but they make up for great customer service.

After a few days of adjusting to her new glasses, M loves them so much! The only thing that she struggled a bit with was the added nosepiece. Her old Miraflex pair did not have any but the new Tomato glasses are great for transitioning since the piece itself is very soft and flexible.

Here is a list of pros (no cons 😄):

  • lightweight
  • comfortable
  • flexible
  • stylish
  • adjustable (nosepiece and temples can be adjusted by tiny screws)
  • toddler-friendly
  • optional band around the glasses (M didn’t need it after we realized that the glasses are well supported without it)
