#SundayFunday No. 5: A Bird Feeder

We are anticipating the arrival of Spring with today’s activity and hopefully bring some warm weather our way. If you have stale cereal (preferably any circular ones) around, consider making a bird feeder. Our first bird feeder was made a few days before the bigger snow storm (see photo below).

You will need either a pipe cleaner, yarn, or fishing wire. Anything that’s strong enough to hold the cereal and a visiting bird. We used pipe cleaners and the kids threaded the Cheerios through carefully. I twisted the ends together and shaped it as a heart. This is so easy and looks great hung on a tree or a balcony like we did in the photo.

They say that it will take a few weeks before you see any birds. We are crossing our fingers. πŸ˜„
