Yesterday I was so happy to receive my free set of 45 Sticky Labels from Mabel’s Labels for my honest review. I have used other labels in the past for many purposes but I have to say that these are amazing! They arrived in my mailbox within a week of placing my order. Fantastic!
So here’s a little bit of information about Mabel’s Labels. It was founded by four moms frustrated with their children’s items being lost and never to return back home. They wanted to make a change with strong personalized, waterproof name labels and tags. Now 11 years later, they are still passionate about what they do.
Awards and recognition for our mom-owned business include the 2007 SavvyMom “Mom Entrepreneur of the Year”, “Best Product” from Baby Gizmo, iParenting and PTPA Media, and a 2009 Royal Bank of Canada Women Entrepreneur Award. In 2012, we ranked #27 in the PROFIT/Chatelaine W100 and were selected for a special magazine profile. We’ve been featured on The View, Today, The Early Show, Rachael Ray, LIVE! with Regis and Kelly, Parents, In Style, The Washington Post, Huffington Post, People.com, Forbes.com and countless blogs and websites. As sought-after experts on social media, we’re listed on Inc.com’s list of ‘20 Awesome Facebook Fan Pages’ and Hubspot’s ‘The 15 Best Facebook Pages You’ve Ever Seen’. Celebrity moms who have used Mabel’s Labels include Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Weisz, Heidi Klum and Reese Witherspoon.
Generally, I use labels to organize my children’s belongings. My other labels are smaller in size and do not stick very well after a few washes. When ordering my Mabel’s Labels, K helped me to pick out the colors and design. We chose the solid blue, yellow, and red color scheme with transparent stars on the side.
K will use these labels specifically for school and sports. As a matter of fact, about a month ago K lost her pencil case in the school hallway and never found it. We would have been luckier if we had a bold, durable label like Mabel’s Labels on it. You live and learn, right?
Instructions are provided in the first page of the packet and are very easy to understand. Just simply stick each label on and that’s it. These labels are microwave, dishwasher, and laundry safe! A cute slogan on the front sleeve says, “Labels for the stuff kids lose!” I couldn’t agree more. And you won’t have to worry about these losing their adhesiveness. They are very durable.
Here’s the breakdown:
- very adhesive
- vibrant colors
- fun designs (my second choice was a cat)
- perfect sizes, shapes, and styles (Sticky Labels are 2-3/4″ x 5/8″)
- microwave safe
- dishwasher safe
- laundry safe
- UV resistant
- extensive selection of various labels (Skinny-Minis, Tag Mates, Iron-Ons, Shoe Labels, Bag Tags, Teeny Tags, Write Away! Labels, Allergy Alerts, Household Labels, and Holiday Labels)
- affordable (45 Personalized Sticky Labels are $21.00)
- labels for life
- I wish that I knew about these a lot earlier. With K’s nut allergy, I could have used the Allergy Alerts labels in elementary school.
I am in the process of notifying K’s school so they can participate in their fundraiser program in the future. It’s a great fundraiser for parents and schools alike. To learn more about fundraising, click on this Fundraiser Sign Up Form.
Overall, I am very pleased with Mabel’s Labels. Hopefully this review will help anyone looking for awesome labels.
Love comes in all shapes and sizes.
