Proud Parent Alert!

Wow, times have changed!

Today, I received an e-mail from K’s middle school that her report card was available for viewing via the school’s parent portal online. I was taken by surprise because I was so used to getting paper report cards since she was in Kindergarten. I am very certain that my parents still have all my report cards in their garage, believe it or not. Not sure if I like this electronic method at the moment. But…

Honor Roll (1st Marking Period 2014)

She made the Honor Roll for the 1st marking period!!! I am the proudest mom in the world! She was struggling with her school work due to softball (lots of late nights until 10 p.m.). But she came out on top. She did it on her own. This was actually the first year where I didn’t help with her homework and studying.

She is very proud of her achievements. We are printing it out and framing it for her bedroom wall. All smiles today…
